The Via Francigena Morenico-Canavesana runs along a beautiful stretch of Ivrea Morainic Amphitheater, created by the Balteo glacier retreat, one of the best preserved geological structures of glacial origin in the world, spotted by lakes and framed by the long line of the Serra moraine, 25 km long.

CONNECTIONS AND TRANSPORT
Carema can be reached from highway tollgates in Pont Saint Martin (3 km) and Quincinetto (3,5 km) or driving the main road SS26 della Valle d’Aosta.
The intermediate rest point of the route is Ivrea, not far from the tollgate of A5 Torino-Aosta highway.
Piverone, point of arrival of the route is settled along provincial road SP 228 “del Lago di Viverone”
