The Serra: on one side the steep rampart overhangs the plane of the morainic bowl, on the other side the infinite system of morainic sediments that follow each other
fading into the Biellese. Luminous woods of chestnuts alternate with dense pine forests furrowed with fire cutting pathways that cross paths for mushrooms and signs of antique torrents: an apparently indecipherable labyrinth that renews the fun of exploration with each pedal stroke, in an environment that changes continually. Once the ridge of the Serra has been reached through ascents that will satisfy those that love hard work, opening a world of satisfaction: an infinite playground, a natural bike park where you can search for a technical gesture - required by the insidious morainic terrain - never an end in itself, but framed in a continual need for discovery. If you want to struggle a minimum, you should start from the bottom and climb to height from the itineraries Connecting to the main Trace of the High Way starting from Chiaverano, Burolo, Bollengo or Piverone choosing a different return route, for a “ring” pathway.
For the more comfortable option, bring the bike by car to Croce Serra or Broglina, in order to increase the range of action of the explorational activity...
