Museum of gold and the Bessa

The museum is in the community of Vermognosulla moraine della Serra, at the centre of the great Roman Era gold mine, protected by the RiservaNaturaleSpecialedellaBessa. In an artificial landscape, dominated enormous piles of pebbles, made in order to select the material rich in alluvial gold, the museum collect and documents the manual techniques used throughout the centuries for searching gold, accompanying visitors in excursions and practical workshops.

Museum of the Resistance

The permanent exhibit, cared for by Elio Parlamento (“Varzi” partisan), keeps precious documental and iconographic material collected by the protagonists and researchers.
