FESTIVAL OF THE BANCHETTE RED CORN

Every year in October, the Great expo-market and sampling of products using pignoletto red corn flour of Banchette, corn threshing and grinding, walks and equestrian games, educational farm, market for typical Piedmont and Valle d’Aosta products, exhibitions.

The Red Pignoletto of Canavese is an antique corn variety, recovered thanks to the precious work of a group of passionate farmers, supported by the Municipal administration of Banchette, the Turin Province, which supplied critical assistance, and the Turin Confagricoltura.
